A native Texan, Roxanne grew up in Tomball—site of the original Humble Oil Camp—surrounded by a large entrepreneurial family. Real estate transactions were part of the family business and have always been a part of her life. The ups and downs, the “booms and busts” of that world are nothing new to her.
Roxanne has a wide-ranging educational and professional background. She received her undergraduate degree from Rice University and her law degree from the University of Texas in Austin. She has practiced law in Texas and New Mexico and has also taught drama and theater part-time at Houston’s Kindkaid School. She launched her real estate career in 2006.
Roxanne prioritizes community involvement and service. Over the years, she has been an active participant—as a volunteer or board member—in these noteworthy organizations:
Assistance League of Houston Imprint
Cattle Baron’s Ball Main Street Theater
Buckaroo Ball Santa Fe Cares
Friends of Fondren Library Southwest Care Center
Friends of Rice Players Warehouse 21
Roxanne came to Santa Fe more than 20 years ago and, like many others, quickly fell under its spell, buying her first home there within 90 days. She settled in the City Different permanently in the late 1990s. Her husband, Chuck Apple, is a principle of Denman & Associates, one of Santa Fe’s most highly respected builders.
As an attorney, Roxanne prided herself on being a deal maker, “the lawyer you want to have on your side.” Positive and energetic, she helped her clients find opportunities in the challenges they faced. She brings that outlook to her work as a real estate broker. In addition, her background in collaboration, problem solving, negotiation, and mediation helps her provide an exceptional level of knowledge and service. “I only know one way to serve a client,” she says. “With steadiness, enthusiasm, integrity, and follow-through.”
