The 3 acre tract provides a few building spots, one that would probably be the one that you can spread out a bit. The views from this portion of the property are amazing, the Jemez Mountains to the south with the Chama River Valley in the foreground., Pedernal in the Distance, and several other mountains. The property is easy to get to as the access is not difficult and a good road. There is underground electricity close by, you have the option of having a water well drilled (there are several water wells in the area) or have water delivered. A septic system will be required and the soils look to be able to easily support leach lines. The property is close to the Chama River, the El Rito Creek, and up river is the Abiquiu Lake. There are public lands, BLM and National Forests close by. Old Covenants may apply, but there is no active HOA and the property will be reviewed by a local title company to determine if there are any covenants in force.
“It is not a country of light on things -it is a country of things in light.”
Georgia O’Keeffe
About 60 miles north of Santa Fe, Abiquiu and surrounding communities of El Rito, Gallina, Ojo Caliente and Chama to the north are some of the most beautiful landscapes New Mexico has to offer.
